MODERN GARLIC DIGGER FOR FARMERS

Abstract

Abstract. In our republic, garlic cultivation is mainly carried out by manual labor, so the income from it remains at the lowest levels. Because when planting garlic in homesteads and small farms, the process of initially separating them into seeds, that is, dividing them into heads, sorting them for seeds, sowing and weeding and harvesting are not mechanized, the costs of its cultivation remain several times higher. This article presents the design of the garlic digger, working bodies, technical characteristics of the garlic digger, the main parameters of the garlic digger, and the results of tests of the farmer-made universal root and fruit digger equipped with an improved screening device and interchangeable section share. The technological process of the garlic digger and its structural schemes were developed by studying the planting methods used in garlic cultivation in the soil-climatic conditions of our republic, determining the physical and mechanical properties of the soil before planting and harvesting, studying its geometric dimensions and frictional properties according to garlic varieties.
