IMPROVING THE EFFICIENCY OF USING WATER RESOURCES IN THE CULTIVATION OF AUTUMN WHEAT VARIETIES
Abstract
Abstract. The article presents the preliminary results of field experiments on the use of the rain irrigation method in the cultivation of the Turon winter wheat variety zoned for the conditions of the Kashkadarya region. It is known that grain crops, including winter wheat varieties, are grown on large irrigated areas in order to ensure food security in our republic and meet the population's demand for grain crops. In subsequent years, as a result of limited water resources, excessive water losses are allowed due to the low efficiency of water use with the traditional method of irrigation of wheat. In this regard, this article is based on field research on the use of rain irrigation, which is considered the most economical method for the irrigation of corn crops.
