Results of the study of physical and mechanical properties of soil after harvesting grain crops

Abstract

The article presents the results of research conducted on fields cleared of grain and the study of the physical and mechanical properties of the soil in these areas. The results obtained were used to maintain soil fertility in agriculture and create optimal conditions for subsequent crops. The main focus of the experimental studies is on soil density, hardness, moisture, soil resistance to various deformations, height and number of straw residues. The condition of the soil after agrotechnical treatment was also studied, the results of which established that timely and correctly carried out agrotechnical measures on areas cleared of grain improve the physical properties of the soil, reduce the risk of erosion, and have a positive effect on crop yields. The article concludes with recommendations based on the results of the study, and emphasizes the importance of their implementation in practice.
