METHODS FOR DEVELOPING AND CALCULATION RESOURCE-EFFECTIVE DESIGNS TO INCREASE THE LIFE OF BELT CONVEYOR ROLLER MECHANISMS

Abstract

The article presents ideas on installing bushings made of rubber with elastic elements in the bearing housings of the roller mechanism of the belt conveyor, which provide a smooth rotational movement. In addition, methods for developing and calculating a resource-saving design to increase the service life of the belt conveyor structure were developed. According to the results of the study, comparing the vibration of the roller mechanism with the vibration of a conventional roller mechanism, according to the results of the comparison, it is possible to prevent premature failure of the recommended roller mechanism by reducing vibrations in the mechanism.
